Some of you may recall that I recently earned the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) through Association for Talent Development (ATD), formerly known as ASTD. The CPLP aligns with the ATD Competency Model linked below.

The ATD Certification Institute states, "Based on the ATD Competency Model, the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential provides talent development professionals the ability to prove their worth to employers and to be confident in their knowledge of the field."

As a result of earning the CPLP, ATD asked me to write about my journey to earn the CPLP certification in a three-part series.

The following link is the first of three articles, https://www.td.org/Publications/Blogs/Career-Development-Blog/2015/03/CPLP-Making-the-Decision-and-Committing-to-the-Goal?mktcops=c.career-dev&mktcois=c.managing-your-career~c.assessment-credentialing&mkttag=c.
